PlanLogix allows health care benefit plans to be created from a series of predefined benefit plan components.  There are components for co-payments, Benefits, Accumulators, etc. These components are like Legos. With Legos, children can make fantastically complicated structures. Likewise, with PlanLogix, your organization can easily represent the most complex benefit plans,

PlanLogix is designed as a central repository for benefit plan information for large-scale healthcare companies. In this role, PlanLogix is designed to contain all information required to completely service a benefit plan throughout its entire life cycle from sales through renewal.  PlanLogix uses XML exclusively to store all master contracts, plans, and underlying components.  The XML representations can be easily transformed into HTML (browser views), reports, PDFs, or other XML representations for extraction to other systems.

Key PlanLogix features are:

  • Easily customizable benefit plan taxonomy
The benefit plan representation in terms of the major components such as benefits, co-payments, limitations, accumulators, etc., are completely user definable and can be evolved over time without changes to the supporting data base
  • Data content is user defined
The informational content of all the plan components is completely user definable. We do not require that you fit into a preexisting data representation. PlanLogix adapts to your needs
  • User defined business rules
All business rules and plan validation rules are user definable via a scripting language.  Users can maintain business rules without modifications to PlanLogix.
  • Comprehensive user roles and privileges
PlanLogix has a flexible scheme for defining and assigning privileges which allows users to control access and rights within PlanLogix.
